The first must visit place in Hampstead is Hampstead Heath. One of London’s best green spaces – Hampstead Heath is a wild park with woodland, meadows and amazing views over London. It’s perfect for a leisurely walk, a picnic or a swim in one of its famous ponds.
2. Hampstead Pergola & Hill Gardens
Next on the list is one of London’s best hidden gems – Hampstead Pergola & Hill Gardens. At this magical location you’ll find a pergola covered in greeneery and lush gardens. It feels like a secret escape in the city. The pergola is a perfect spot for photography or a peaceful walk.
3. Hampstead Village
Hampstead Village is a very pretty area filled with cosy cafes, interesting alleyways and historic pubs. Stroll through the streets of the village and you’ll discover great boutiques, antique stalls and coffee shops.

How to get to Hampstead
Hampstead is easy to get to by tube from Central London – if you’re starting in Hampstead Village you should get the northern line to Hampstead tube station. If you’re starting at Hampstead Heath you can get the overground to Hampstead Heath station.
