It’s the part of London I’ve spent the most time exploring – and is always an absolute dream to wander round – and in this guide I’m sharing all the best things to do in West London. With its pretty streets, lush parks and riverside neighbourhoods, it’s a side of London that you absolutely shouldn’t skip.

1. Stroll through Notting Hill’s pastel streets
Notting Hill is renowned for its pastel-coloured houses & charming streets, and exploring them is one of the best things to do in West London. You can find all Notting Hill’s best colourful streets in my Notting Hill guide, but a few of my favourites are Colville House, Lansdowne Road and Elgin Crescent. This area is also home to chic boutiques, trendy cafes, and independent bookstores, making it perfect for a leisurely day out in London.

This UNESCO World Heritage site boasts one of the world’s most diverse collections of plants, featuring the iconic Palm House, Temperate House, and Treetop Walkway.
