1. London
No list of best UK cities to visit would be complete without London – England’s capital city!
London’s home to so many famous landmarks – Buckingham Palace, Tower Bridge & Big Ben to name just a few – but also full of beautiful streets to wander (here are a few of my favourite)

2. Edinburgh
Edinburgh is one my absolute favourite cities, it’s full of beautiful architecture, with so many beautiful streets to explore. You can find my guide to Edinburgh’s best instagram spots here.

3. Bath
Bath is a very pretty city in Somerset in South West England. It’s a compact city that’s easy to explore on foot, and full of historical attractions to visit.

4. York
York is a beautiful city in Yorkshire, North England. Filled with cute houses and cobbled streets – the Harry Potter-esque The Shambles are a must visit – it feels like a city from a fairytale. With fast train connections it’s one of the best places to visit in England by train.
5. Cambridge
Cambridge in England is famous for it’s top class University, and is a beautiful city full of incredible historic architecture. It’s less than an hour away by train from central London – you can catch the train from London King Cross – and makes the perfect day trip.
6. Oxford
Oxford is another famous university town. Like Cambridge it’s an easy & quick train ride from London – trains run from London Paddington & Marylebone stations – and is a perfect day trip from London.
7. Canterbury
Another one of the UK’s prettiest cities – Canterbury is a beautiful historic city in Kent in South East England.
Canterbury has a medieval town centre with picturesque cobbled streets, a cathedral and a flower lined river. You can get to Canterbury in just under one hour by train from London (the best way is to catch a fast train from London St Pancras.)
