Notting Hill Gate station – easy to get to from central London, and on the Central, Circle & District London Underground lines – is a perfect starting point. If you take the Portobello Market exit from the station, you can start your Notting Hill exploring a short walk away in Portobello Road.

1. Portobello Road
Notting Hill’s most iconic street – Portobello Road is a vibrant colourful street full of shops, cafes and pretty coloured houses.
2. St Luke’s Mews
One of the prettiest streets in London, St Luke’s Mews is a picturesque cobbled mews street in Notting Hill. The pink house in St Luke’s Mews is one of London’s most instagrammable houses, and the street is also famous for being in Love Actually (the blue house next door to this cute pink house was Keira Knightley’s characters home in the movie.)
3. Lancaster Road
Another picture perfect street in Notting Hill – Lancaster Road (which you can find running off Portobello Road and close to Ladbroke Grove tube station) is lined with rainbow coloured houses.
4. The Sun in Splendour
A classic British pub with a bright yellow exterior, The Sun in Spendour is at the top of Portobello Road (if you’re coming from Notting Hill Gate tube station) and is the perfect place for a pit stop before you begin your Notting Hill photo walk.

On the Notting Hill-Kensington borders in West London, Farm Place is among a cluster of London’s most instagrammable colourful streets.

Lansdowne Road is one of my favourite streets in London. Filled with pastel houses, Lansdowne Road is one of Notting Hill’s best instagram spots.
7. Stanley Crescent
Stanley Crescent in Notting Hill is famed for it’s beautiful pink cherry blossom tree. In spring this becomes one of London’s most popular instagram spots. If you’d like to get a photo of Stanley crescent when the cherry blossom is in full bloom, I’d suggest getting there as early in the day as possible, before the street is swarming with people and their camera phones!

Elgin Crescent is a beautiful pastel coloured street, not far from Ladbroke Grove tube station.
9. Hillgate Place
You can find Hillgate Place on the Notting Hill Gate-Kensington borders, close to Notting Hill Gate tube station.
10. Colville Houses
Another beautiful colourful Notting Hill street filled with pastel coloured houses. Colville Houses is a very pretty residential street very close to Portobello Road.

Westbourne Park is yet another street off Portobello Road filled with colourful Notting Hill houses.

One of London’s most instagrammable houses, you can find this very pretty blue house in Notting Hill on Pembridge Road, a very short walk from Notting Hill Gate station.
